The BOUNCE back exercise program can be delivered in a variety of formats from one-on-one private consultations through to group exercise classes. All training materials are provided. The back exercise program streams include upper and lower body from very early beginners, through intermediate and advanced stream. The BOUNCE back exercise system has been comprehensively researched and developed over more than 6 years. Supporting the exercises are detailed patient handout sheets which include easy-to-follow exercise instructions and pictures to assist patients in completing exercises at their own leisure in-between consultations.
BOUNCE back instructors also undergo a detailed training program where they learn how to correctly deliver the BOUNCE back exercise system. As part of this training they will also receive highly detailed instructor materials including exercise notes and graphics to assist them to deliver each exercise to its highest possible potential.
Back to moving with confidence and control
This back exercise program starts by retraining the brain with very gentle exercises that gradually progress to more challenging movement tasks with a focus on the upper back and neck area. Upper back level one is designed to teach patients how to control and conquer back and/or neck problems giving them the confidence needed while moving in their daily activities.
Back to favourite recreational activities
This level of back exercise program is suitable for participants who have completed the Level 1 (Introduction) program. This program covers increasing control of upper back, neck and shoulder muscles while moving the spine and developing functional strength and flexibility. The focus of upper back level two is to concentrate on functional balance and spinal strength. Participants find level 2 to be fun and highly challenging while utilizing balls and resistance bands.

Lower back level one is designed to teach patients how to control and conquer back, hip and knee problems giving them the confidence needed while moving in their daily activities.
Back to your favourite recreational activities
This exercise program is targeted towards those who have completed the lower body level 1 program or already have an appropriate level of spinal stability. It also fast-tracks patient recovery following hip, knee or ankle injury or surgery. Lower back level two is designed with graduated exercises that will ensure participants gain the strength, stamina and stability to return to their favourite recreation activities, or enable them to get back to work or sport.
For those wanting to go a little further, the Advanced course brings all the exercise principles learnt in the beginners and intermediate streams together to maximise gains in stability, speed, agility and strength. The BOUNCE back advanced course has proven effective in high-achieving workers and sports people, even at the elite at Olympic level.
Optimising fine and gross motor skills in primary school children, this exercise program is run in small groups using play based classes. The program, which has been designed by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, develops balance, awareness, posture, core strength, and motor planning in 5 – 12 year olds through challenging and fun task completion.
